National Team Training Camp (Open and Youth)

This National Lead training camp will be focused on introducing and developing World Cup and World Championship lead skills in qualification round format.

We will be testing and developing warm-up routines that prepare athletes for a lead qualification round format, with limited warm-up space, forerunning videos, the difficulty of international routes, and the tactics required to compete well in this format.

The event will be a two day event (Sunday 23rd and Monday 24th), and athletes wishing to take part in Boulderfest on Saturday at Collingwood may do so to add some extra boulder comp experience and as an opportunity to practice skin management strategies for 2 more days of climbing.
