My name is Joanna, I am 14 years old. 

 I have been climbing for ten years now and absolutely love it. I started when I was four at a gym in Hamilton, New Zealand with my parents who are both into climbing. I now climb at Urban Climb, Brisbane and love to lead climb the most.

Other hobbies of mine include art and reading. My favourite food is very hard to decide but I like sushi and pasta best. I also like outdoor climbing especially in the Blue Mountains, my favourite achievement outdoors is sending Hotel California-Contented Cows link up in the Blue Mountains which is an 8-pitch grade 20. I love the outdoors with its beauty and scale and what better way to enjoy it than while climbing.  

I am extremely nervous for the competition as it will be my first world championships, but I am looking forward to the challenge.
