You will also find the info pack here: http://egw.ifsc-climbing.org/Editors/2017/i17_OC_NC.pdf

Note that the event is only for Open, Youth B, Youth A and Junior categories.

For athletes in the Youth A category this is a qualifying event for the 2018 Youth Olympic games.  Athletes in this category will be competing in the combined format and the Oceania Male and Female Youth A Champions will be selected for the Youth Olympic Team.

The cost of registration includes:

  • $50 towards the cost of the flights and accommodation for the coach travelling with the team
  • $55 per discipline to the event organiser
  • $118 for an Australian Team uniform

PARTICIPATION AND SELECTION

Athletes currently in the Australian International and Continental team are automatically selected to participate in the event. To encourage participation in the combined format, athletes are granted access to all three disciplines regardless of their discipline of selection.

Also, we believe such an event is a great opportunity for the development of climbing in Australia and our athletes. We would like to extend the invitation to more athletes and call for expression of interest. If you are interested in participating in the event, please email us at info@sportclimbingaustralia.org.au with your name and summary of results in the last year.

Expressions of interest will be closing on the 28th August.
