Round 2 of the Pinnacle Social Series saw a select group of climbers brave the elements to test themselves against the unique features of Adrenalin’s walls in Toowoomba. The local climbers came out in force to show the upstarts from Brisbane how it’s done, and there were a few climbers heard to mutter ‘another crack climb??’ Phil and Troy set some awesome routes, and everyone agreed that it was well worth the trip to try out some different styles of climbing: there were cracks, corners, chimneys and slabs a-plenty, and a couple of very thin edge-climbs for the opens. Tom O’Halloran tied for first place in the open section again, this time with Daniel Tirado-Lopez, while Mindy Coles broke through to win the open female section.

A huge thank-you must go to Cathy and the guys at Adrenalin, for a great comp and an excellent atmosphere (as well as many cups of hot tea to stave off the cold!). Full results are below
